Jon and I were fortunate to be able to shake hands with John McCain on Monday. He stopped in Columbia for a brief appearance at Buckinghams for lunch. Select business owners from Columbia were invited. We knew about 6 people who were there and got a little inside scoop telling us he might be there. So we waited outside and were able to shake his hand as he arrived. I still cannot upload individual pics but will try to link you to some websites we have made.

Hey Brooke,
I found your blog last week when I googled you for your contact info for listing the duplex.
After reading through your blog I want you to know that I have been praying for you and your hubby. I've also been praying that God would give me the right words that would minister to you.
Corey and I can definatly relate to what you guys are going through having been there ourselves. I was under Dr. Penney's care for the past 5 years (until we moved and he retired) and I've been pregnant 6 times in the past 5 years. I lost two pregnancies before we got pregnant with our oldest, Aly and one in between Aly & Ashley.
All I can say is hang in there and keep the faith. We live in a fallen world where the devil is the ruler of this world and the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy but Jesus came so that we could have life and have it more abundantly. Every good and perfect gift comes from God. In the Bible, God promises to restore to us 7 times what the devil stole from us and what the devil meant for evil God will turn into good.
The good news is that if you've confessed Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior you are not of this world and you do not have to live according to the way the world lives and you are not governed by their rules. You are a child of the King and He is your "Daddy" and it's the "Daddy's" desire to give their children everything they desire.
God gives us the desires of our heart and I beleive that he will give you the desires of your heart. He wants us to be fruitful and multiply especially if we are raising Godly children. Jeremiah 1:12 says "He watches over His word to perform it". In the bible He has promised you a child, to be able to hold, love, nurture and raise and he is watching over that promise to make sure it comes to pass.
Another favorite scripture of mine during pregnancy is found in Malachi 3:11 says "And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts." This is a constant confession of mine during pregnancy.
Sometimes people will say things to us that we feel are insensitive or just plan dumb. Try to remember that they meant to say the right thing. Unless someone's gone through something like this they have no idea what to say but their intentions are good.
There's a great book that you can order at Lemstone called "Supernatural Childbirth" by Jackie Mize. It really puts a Godly perspective on this and is full of encouragement and good confessions.
The good news is that you and your hubby are compatible, you know that you can do this because you've been successful at becoming pregnant in the past. Keep your chin up...your "Daddy" loves you and is holding you in the palm of his hands.
